My Kiddos absolutely adore Water Day. Last week when they missed Water Day, they decided that they would be good so they can have Water Day this week. The hard work of being good paid off. We had Water Day this week. I set out 2 small pools & 2 hose pipes and let my Kiddos have over 30 minutes of water fun. One of the small pools had a connecter on one end for a hose pipe and the other end was a small sprinkler. That pool was the favorite one. My Kiddos love being sprayed by the hose pipes. I showed them how to spray each other with the hose pipes. My ears were ringing when we went inside to change.
A new favorite play type is family play. I have learned many things about these Kiddos and their families. I like to sit back and observe the Kiddos talk and play house. I'm amazed by the conversations they have with one another. The Kiddos take turns calling on the play phone to let me know that their babies are coming to school or that their babies won't be because the babies are very sick. I join in with the fun as well. When I join in on the fun, I am usually the mommy for the Kiddos and grandmother to their babies. And yes, to be called a grandmother at age 20 doesn't sound right to me but thankfully it's just pretend. :)
After a filling lunch, part of a movie, and a long nap, my Kiddos were treated with a chocolate chip cookie, a strawberry milkshake oreo, and fruit loops. [MAJOR sugar intake that I could not believe I did that to my Kiddos] I rarely give those kinds of snacks. I like to give them healthy snacks (apples, oranges, pistachios, sunflower seeds, etc.) not all that sweet stuff. My Kiddos were so surpised by today's snack; and I was too.
The gym-FINALLY. My Kiddos missed going to the gym in the morning thanks to the boys being rude to one another. [5 boys & 2 girls] Anyways, we spent a long time in the gym. My Kiddos were on a sugar rush and needed a large area to run. I am so thankful to have an airconditioned space for the Kiddos to run out all that sugar induced energy. We had a fun time before we went home.

Doodlebug*: "I got this baby out of my tummy for you. Here she is."
*H*: "This is tomorrow so that means we get the cookies."
meaning: I had told *H* yesterday that tomorrow (today) we would have the cookies for snack if everyone was good & took a nap.
*Doodlebug*: "My grandma's car has directions in it."
meaning: a GPS
*E*: "I want to marry my mommy."
*L*: "I want to marry my mommy too."
meaning: they love their moms. :)
*H*: "Kissing means you got married."
*Doodlebug*: "Ms. Mary, do you know my phone number?"
Ms. Mary: "No, I do not, *Doodlebug*."
*Doodlebug*: "It's three oh sixty." [3060]
Ms. Mary: "*E* what are you doing?"
*E*: "I'm trying to put the baby doll diaper on."
Ms. Mary: "*E*, you're not suppose to put a baby doll diaper on yourself, ok."
*E*: "But I almost got it."
Ms. Mary: "*E*, take it off now or we won't have that diaper to have for the baby dolls. Please and thank you."
