Our Director, Ms. B., arranged for a magician to come to our school while she went on vacation. The magician is from Atlanta, GA and his name is Mark. He kept everyone laughing; even the adults. Usually the magicians or puppet show people we have are corny. Magician Mark was really good with children. He kept the kids laughing at the kid friendly magic tricks. One of my Kiddos was asked to be a helper. *Doodlebug* thought she was something when she was asked to be a helper. She smiled and giggled the whole time she was helping. She is too cute. We all enjoyed the magic show.
My Kiddos have really enjoyed the home center this summer. Being a mommy or a daddy is a big deal. *Doodlebug* would have to be my favorite mommy and *H* would be my favorite daddy. *Doodlebug* is the perfect mommy to her babies. She has learned well from her mommy. Since *Doodlebug* has a baby in the family, she knows what she's doing with the baby dolls in our classroom. [If those babies could talk...] *H* proved himself today that he can put a diaper and shoes on a baby. Yes, the baby was way too small for the diaper and shoes plus the diaper was on backwards but so far, he is the only one who has put shoes and a diaper on a baby doll by himself. I was proud of him. He brought the baby to me to show off what he did.

*Buzz* and *J* came up with an interesting game today. The materials required are a table, 2 magnetic paddles, a few large wooden circle beads and 2 players. Using their paddles, they would hit the beads across the table to one another. They played this new game at least 15 minutes. I watched for a few minutes. They were laughing and having a wonderful time.
Before lunch, we went on a walk around the school grounds. We sat on the steps on the side of the church that faces the fire department. I told the Kiddos we might be able to see a fire truck coming or going. Not even a minute later, a fire truck was coming in from being on a call. The Kiddos got excited seeing the fire truck pull in the fire station's parking area. Since it was getting close to lunch time, we stood up and walked toward the classroom. Finally, it was lunch time!!!
After lunch and a nap, my Kiddos woke up to a healthy snack. I had fixed a snack of fresh popcorn, pistachios, raisins, and peach white grape juice. This snack was eaten so much quickly and I even was asked for seconds. I love it when my Kiddos like the healthier foods!! Healthy snacks makes me happy plus my Kiddos. Who could resist today's snack?!?! Yesterday's snack was way too much sugar but well worth the hyper fun.
